Inside cabins are cheap and dark – ideal for sleep and short, port-rich trips.
Ocean views bring daylight without a private outdoor space. Balconies pay off with many sea days and mild climate.
Suites mean more space and often extra service – the price jump is noticeable.
Location onboard
Mid decks and midship length are calmer in swell. Far forward/aft and under disco or buffet can be louder.
Check connecting cabins and cabins near Kids Clubs early if you travel with family.

Is a balcony always worth it?
No. With many port calls and few sea days often less. For Norway, world-cruise segments or slowing down more yes.
