AIDA drinks 2026 – FUN & ALL IN packages to compare now

Drinks are often the biggest variable cost after the cabin on AIDA. Since the fare redesign (bookings from July 2025), packages are called FUN (non-alcoholic) and ALL IN (with alcohol) – the old Light / Comfort / Comfort Deluxe names no longer apply.

As of: August 2026 (guide prices, without guarantee).

What is already included without a package?

Full board is part of the cruise fare. In the buffet restaurants, selected drinks are free at mealtimes – typically mineral water, soft drinks, table wine, tea and filter coffee; often draught beer at the tap station too.

Outside the buffets (bars, cafés, many specialty restaurants) you pay for drinks individually – or use a drinks package. Starbucks coffee specialties and house-brewed beers are excluded from the packages.

  • Filter coffee/tea at breakfast ≠ bean-to-cup machine (often extra without FUN/ALL IN)
  • Cabin water: higher fares often include two bottles daily, otherwise surcharge
  • Booking confirmation and current AIDA terms are binding

Drinks packages FUN & ALL IN

Adults choose between two packages. Both are booked for the whole cruise (not day-by-day). In one cabin, all adults must take the same package.

  • FUN (from age 16, all cruise lengths): soft drinks, juices, hot drinks/coffee specialties (no Starbucks), milkshakes, non-alcoholic cocktails/spritz
  • ALL IN (usually from 5 nights, from 18/25 depending on booking path): everything in FUN plus beer, wine/sparkling by the glass, cocktails, mixed and spritz drinks plus selected premium soft drinks
  • In COMFORT ALL IN, PREMIUM ALL IN and CLASSIC ALL IN fares the fullest package is already in the cruise fare – often cheaper than booking later separately

Kids & teens

Children and teens have Kids & Teens FUN and Kids & Teens ALL IN (soft drinks, juices, cocoa/tea; ALL IN also milkshakes and non-alcoholic cocktails – without typical adult coffee specialties).

On ALL IN fare bookings, guests from 25 get ALL IN; younger guests (2–24) get Kids & Teens ALL IN; from 18 an upgrade to ALL IN is possible against a surcharge.

Orientation: package prices (dynamic)

AIDA no longer publishes package prices as a fixed daily list on the marketing site. They depend on cruise length, region and date – and appear in the myAIDA preview (often about 4 months before departure) or in the booking path.

Editorial samples for winter 2025/26 and summer 2026 (adults, separate booking) roughly fell in these bands:

Example ranges per person (total price ÷ nights ≈ daily rate)

PackageExample winter (approx.)Example peak season (approx.)
FUNapprox. €16–19 / dayapprox. €16–20 / day
ALL INapprox. €36–43 / dayapprox. €36–56 / day
Kids & Teens FUNapprox. €10–12 / dayapprox. €10–12 / day
Kids & Teens ALL INapprox. €15–18 / dayapprox. €16–18 / day

Orientation: individual bar prices

Typical bar-card prices help frame the packages (winter card 2025/26, rounded). Cocktails have become noticeably more expensive versus earlier years in places.

Bar-card extract (orientation, without guarantee)

Drinkapprox. price
Mineral water / soft drink (glass)approx. €2.00–2.60

Prices can differ by ship/route and bar-card updates. The card onboard is authoritative.

Is a package worth it?

Rule of thumb: even a few paid hot drinks, soft drinks or cocktails outside buffet hours add up quickly – especially on sea days and at the pool bar.

ALL IN pays more if you regularly drink beer/wine/cocktails. FUN often pays already with bean-to-cup coffee + soft drinks through the day. Lots of time ashore lowers the benefit.

  • Book the package before departure in myAIDA (often until 3 days prior) or on embarkation day onboard – an ALL IN fare often saves vs later add-on
  • Bringing your own non-alcoholic drinks is generally allowed under current onboard rules; alcohol on embarkation no, from shore days limited (approx. 1 l per person from 18)
  • Comparison: Mein Schiff often prices drinks more into the cruise fare – worth a look if predictability matters more than club-ship feeling

Frequently asked questions

  • Is AIDA all-inclusive for drinks?

Only partly. Buffet drinks at meals are typically included; bars and many specialties cost extra. Broad cover comes with ALL IN (package or ALL IN fare) or FUN for a non-alcoholic flat.

  • What happened to Light / Comfort / Comfort Deluxe?

For bookings from 15 July 2025: Light → FUN, Comfort Deluxe → ALL IN. The mid Comfort package (beer/wine only) is gone. Old live texts with the old names are outdated.

  • Where do I see the exact package price for my cruise?

In the myAIDA preview or after booking under experiences/culinary. AIDA no longer publishes a fixed website price list – prices are sailing-dependent.

  • Is coffee free?

Filter coffee/tea at buffet meals yes. Machine or bar coffee specialties cost extra without FUN/ALL IN (Starbucks excluded anyway).

  • Can I bring drinks onboard?

Non-alcoholic drinks generally yes. Alcohol on embarkation no; during the cruise limited from shore days (currently typically max. 1 litre per person from 18). When in doubt check onboard rules/AIDA.
