Booking early with AIDA often means better cabin choice, more date and ship options and access to PREMIUM fares with more flexibility. Spontaneous can be cheaper – but rarely with a preferred cabin.

When early bird makes sense
If you need a specific ship, cabin location or fixed school holidays, booking early is usually more relaxed. Popular dates (Christmas, New Year’s Eve, summer fjords) sell out early.
PREMIUM fares target early birds with more inclusions and change options – LIGHT/CLASSIC more price and spontaneity.

What you should book with it
Besides cabin price, transfer, parking, travel insurance and drinks packages (FUN/ALL IN) count. Some ALL IN fares already include the fullest package – which can beat later separate booking.

Last minute pays when date and departure port fit and cabin location does not matter. Early bird pays when planning security and choice matter. You can watch both paths in parallel – the concrete booking path is always binding.
