AIDA Christmas 2026 – check festive cruises & destinations
Christmas onboard means festive décor from the first Advent, Christmas gala, culinary highlights and often a gift moment – under palms or with winter feeling. In 2026/27 all eleven club ships are sailing; concrete departures and prices are daily.

What to expect onboard
From the first Advent the ships are decorated for Christmas (each ship individually). Typical are Advent/Christmas programmes, shows, family offers and a festive menu – intensity and extras can vary by ship and route. On AIDAnova winter magic starts at the first Advent (incl. Christmas market at sea, ice rink); AIDAprima celebrates from late December with ice rink and winter huts.

Festive sailings are often in demand early – especially preferred ships and family cabins. PREMIUM/ALL IN fares ease planning; spontaneous bookings are possible, but choice shrinks.
From-prices swing strongly by date, cabin and flight. We deliberately list no euro amounts here: always check via cruise search or directly with AIDA.

Can I spend Christmas with AIDA in the sun?
Yes. Classics for 2026 are Canaries/Madeira, Caribbean/Central America and Southeast Asia. Alternatively: winter routes from Hamburg/Kiel (AIDAnova, AIDAprima) and a mild Mediterranean with AIDAmar after modernisation.
Is there an ice rink at Christmas?
Yes on selected ships: e.g. AIDAnova from the first Advent and AIDAprima on the holiday sailings. Not fleet-wide and not year-round – check the current programme in myAIDA or onboard.
Are Christmas cruises more expensive?
Holidays often sit above the seasonal average, especially with flights and popular cabins. Book early and compare the total price including extras.
